ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is seeking for our client's behalf someone who wants to develop in a role as a project engineer where you support project managers. As a project engineer, you will have a coordinating role with varying tasks where you will learn about construction and property issues. The position is located in Gävle, and your role will focus on noise mitigation measures.

The position is initially a parental leave cover with a desired start in February/March and is expected to last approximately 1.5 years. There are great career opportunities with our client, and provided that the collaboration works well, there may be a possibility of extension after the temporary position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a project engineer, you will assist one or more project managers, among other things by supporting in planning, administration, and follow-up regarding time, cost, content, risks, resources, quality, safety, environment, and work environment. You will assist the project manager in internal and external contacts. Furthermore, you will participate in construction meetings and prepare documentation to follow up on the delivery from the contractor. You will also have a lot of contact with property owners and the public via phone and email.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a university degree of at least 180 credits in the civil engineering sector, preferably with a focus on construction technology
Has previous work experience in project administration or similar
Has a strong drive and the willingness to quickly take on responsibility with a fearless attitude towards new tasks
Has very good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package
Has good knowledge of Swedish, as communication will take place in Swedish in the position
Holds a B driver's license
